ORRIN Cover Art (back)
for Orrin's self-titled debut album (March 2019)

Background
Orrin is a rapper with 100k monthly listeners. Stylistically, he is recognizable for his gender-fluid and futuristic influences on his fashion-forward image. He also had a viral feature on #1 talkshow Dr. Phil with 20m Youtube views as a "cyborg from the year 2050." He has been featured in publications like Noisey, I-D, Lyrical Lemonade, and more.
I was commissioned to design the cover art (back) for Orrin's debut self-titled album
TIME: 3 weeks
TOOLS: Photoshop & Cinema 4D
TEAM: Myself & Ned Stasio
SKILLS: 3D graphics, illustration, graphic design
Design Process
Orrin's debut album was an eclectic conglomeration of several years of emotional songwriting, production, recording, mixing, etc. The theme, or "mascot" representing the album was Orrin's alter-ego "Cyborg Orrin" (front cover). I worked closely with Ned Stasio to capture the extension of this imagery on the back cover.
I depicted the tubing and wiring that "cyborg Orrin" is connected to as DNA-like imagery that fittingly serves as the backdrop to the album's inner contents (numbered tracklist).
